Issued by Da Afghanistan Bank, this 10 Afghanis banknote is dated 1398 in the Solar Hijri calendar, corresponding to 2019. The predominantly green and purple design features the mausoleum of Ahmad Shah Durrani in Kandahar on the obverse. The reverse depicts the Victory Arch in Paghman Gardens, near Kabul.
This 2019 issue uses the second bank seal type and carries the signatures of Wahidullah Nosher and Mohammad Humayon Qayoumi. It was printed by the Polish Security Printing Works (PWPW) in Warsaw. The note also incorporates a segmented security thread that displays repeating “10” numerals when viewed against light.
Condition: Uncirculated (UNC). No folds, tears, or creases. Stored flat in a protective currency sleeve.
