Frequently Asked Questions
Some listings feature genuine, government-issued banknotes. Others are clearly labeled as fantasy, commemorative, replica, or novelty pieces.
Fantasy and commemorative notes are not legal tender and are created for artistic or collectible purposes only. Each product page will clearly state what type of item you are purchasing.
Condition is listed in each product description using standard collector grading terms such as UNC, AU, XF, or VF.
Grading can be somewhat subjective in the hobby. I do my best to describe notes accurately and include clear photos of the actual item whenever possible so you can judge for yourself. Learn more.
In some cases, yes. If the listing shows a circulated banknote, you will receive that specific item (unless otherwise noted).
If a listing is for multiple quantities (such as a lot or UNC notes), you will receive a note of the same grade and type, but serial numbers may vary. Always check the product listing for more details under each tab.
Yes. Free standard U.S. shipping is available on orders over $75 for eligible items. Certain products may be excluded, and the offer cannot be combined with other promotions. Domestic shipping only.
At this time, shipping is limited to the United States. We don’t ship internationally.
Smaller orders are shipped using USPS First-Class Letter Mail in a flat envelope. This helps keep shipping costs low for lightweight items like banknotes. Letter mail uses printed postage with an Intelligent Mail barcode for sorting, but it does not provide traditional package tracking like USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail.
Most envelope shipments arrive within 5–7 business days after they are mailed. If your order includes multiple items or higher-value collectibles, it may ship using a tracked service.

Yes. Custom designs are available by request. These are artistic, fantasy-style creations and are not legal tender. You can submit a quote request through the custom design page to get started.
Each custom design begins with an original concept or inspired from current banknote designs and is developed through a hands-on design process. I build layouts, select typography, create or refine artwork, develop layered security-style elements, and adjust fine details such as borders, guilloches, micro-patterns, and color composition.
Some tools may assist with drafting or concept exploration, but every final design is personally reviewed, refined, and composed by me. The result is a curated, intentional piece of artwork, not a one-click automated output.
Custom commissions involve collaboration, revisions, and detailed finishing work to ensure the final piece reflects the client’s vision while maintaining the distinctive Lanklu Designs style.
