Official 2000 Millennium commemorative $10 polymer banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. This special issue was released to mark the arrival of the new millennium and remains one of the more recognizable modern New Zealand commemoratives. The obverse features Sir Edmund Hillary alongside Mount Cook (Aoraki), while the reverse depicts a Māori waka (canoe) and a stylized map of New Zealand. Printed on durable polymer substrate with advanced security features including a transparent window.
