I have always enjoyed the aesthetic of the $2 1899 Silver Certificate. The engraving, the symmetry, and the strong allegorical feel of the 1899 Silver Certificate just speaks to me for some reason. The late 1800’s issues were made with weight and intent, in every scroll, every portrait, and every “serif.”

This is my version of the same aesthetic, based on the layout and density of the 1899 issue, but applying it to Bitcoin culture and digital elements. Instead of using classical allegory, I used code, validation, and genesis as inspiration for the theme of the notes. Same layered engraving style. Same heavy border. Just a different time. Moreover, this is a bridge between engraved currency art and the digital asset world…
