Iraq 50 Dinars Banknote
Issued by the Central Bank of Iraq in 2003 (AH 1424), this 50 Dinars note was part of the new Iraqi banknote series introduced following the fall of Saddam Hussein’s government. The obverse features a grain silo and ships at the Port of Basra, representing Iraq’s industry and infrastructure. The reverse depicts Medjool date palms with a stylized sun. Printed by De La Rue, the note incorporates an Arabian horse-head watermark and a solid security thread with demetalized Arabic text. The 50 Dinars denomination was later demonetized on April 30, 2015.
Condition: Uncirculated (UNC). No folds, tears, or creases. Stored flat in a protective currency sleeve.
