The set includes the 10 ZiG (P-115), 20 ZiG (P-116), and 50 ZiG (P-117) notes, each featuring one of Africa’s iconic wildlife species and a notable Zimbabwean landmark. The series was introduced by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe in April 2026 as an upgraded successor to the original 2024 ZiG notes, incorporating enhanced security features, improved durability, and an entirely new design theme.
The new “Big Five” series celebrates Zimbabwe’s natural heritage by pairing major wildlife species with national landmarks. The 10 ZiG features the African Buffalo, the 20 ZiG showcases the African Elephant, and the 50 ZiG highlights the Rhinoceros. Additional denominations featuring the Leopard and Lion were announced for future release.
This attractive three-note set is an excellent addition for collectors of modern world currency, African banknotes, wildlife-themed notes, and first-year issues.
Condition: Uncirculated. Crisp paper, sharp corners, no folds, no pinholes, and strong original color. Stored flat and protected.
